Use up to 3 times a week.

1. Start with 1 TBSP of the Charcoal Clay Mask in any small non-metal bowl.

2. Slowly add 1 to 1.5 TSP liquid and mix with a non-metal spoon.

3. Keep adding modest quantities of water or charcoal clay and blending until you achieve a creamy, texture. We understand that preferences vary, with some preferring more water and others less, so start with a small amount and consistently assess the consistency. Ensure thorough mixing to attain a smooth application.

FACE PREP, APPLICATION & AFTERCARE

1. Cleanse Your Face:
   Before applying a face mask, start with a clean face. Use a gentle cleanser to remove any makeup, dirt, or oil.
2. Exfoliate (Optional):
   If you have an exfoliating mask or if you choose to exfoliate, do so before applying the mask. We recommend our Black Soap Face Scrub Crumble. Exfoliating helps remove dead skin cells and allows the mask to penetrate better.
3. Tie Back Hair:
   If you have long hair, tie it back to keep it away from your face during the application.
4. Apply the Mask:
   Use clean hands or a mask applicator to apply an even layer of the mask to your face. Avoid the sensitive areas around your eyes and mouth.
5. Relax and Wait:
   Once the mask is applied, relax and let it sit on your face for the recommended time. This is typically 10-20 minutes.
6. Avoid Facial Movements:
   Try to avoid making facial expressions or talking excessively while the mask is drying to prevent cracking.
7. Rinse Off:
   When the recommended time has passed, use lukewarm water to gently rinse off the mask. Use a soft washcloth if needed. Make sure no residue is left on your skin.
8. Pat Dry:
   Gently pat your face dry with a clean towel. Avoid rubbing, as this can irritate the skin.
9. Apply Moisturizer:
   Follow up with a moisturizer and/or face oil to keep your skin hydrated/moisturized.
10. Frequency:
    Use face masks according to the recommended frequency. Overusing masks may irritate the skin, so follow the product instructions for the best results.
